Greek choreographer and dancer Xenia Koghilaki is interested in the aesthetic, political and social aspects of the body in movement. Following the success of Bang Bang Bodies, presented at the Tanzstage in Berlin, Xenia Koghilaki now presents Slamming. This new form is conceived as a ritual combining sweat and adrenaline, a trio drawing on the radical energy and solidarity of the crowd at a punk rock concert. Slamming experiments with the links between anarchic crowd movement and dance choreography.
