CRAWL CRAWL CRAWL is a staged choral work for twelve singers experienced from the edge of a swimming pool. A study of bodies singing in water, floating in weightless sequences. Bodies that examine the basic tone of the swimming pool as they examine the paradoxes of the welfare state.
The work is created by Convoi Exceptionnel and Jon R. Skulberg in close collaboration with composer Lil Lacy, playwright Astrid Hansen Holm, conductor Mathias Skaarup Sørensen, designer Kit Wan and the vocal ensemble ENSEMBLE EDGE.
Crawl Crawl Crawl will premiere at Bora Bora, in Aarhus, Denmark from the 4t to the 6th of June 2022.
It will also be presented at Passage Festival in Helsingør, Denmark on the 28th and 29th of July.
