Artistduo QUARTO and Nordberg Movement commenced a collaboration earlier in 2021 which includes development of the company and partial production for the upcoming new works “Communal rope” and “CUBE”. The performance-duo QUARTO consists of Anna af Sillén de Mesquita and Leandro Zappala. In between 2003 until now they have created 3 series in 3 parts: WIP, BEAUTY and ROPE, which are not trilogies in a classical sense but rather a long-term research, each piece is autonomous and yet intertwined, creating a sense of coherency. Now two new works are created for the fall of 2021. In “Communal Rope” you as an audience will under the course of several hours create a temporary “community” that moves the rope trough the streets of Stockholm. From Welds premises at Norrtullsgatan 7, trough Dansens Hus by Norra Bantorget to MDT at Skeppsholmen. The project is co-produced by Dansens Hus, Mdt and Weld and takes place sept 4. New work “Cube” opens 9 Dec at Dansens Hus.
