Björn Säfsten & Land Before Time at Edinburgh Fringe Fragments, Dancebase August 19-20

Nordberg Movement is thrilled to invite you to the Fringe Fragments showcase at Dancebase as part of Edinburgh Fringe, with works by choreographers from Sweden, Canada and the UK. This showcase is produced and hosted by Dance Base(Edinburgh, UK) in partnership with Nordberg Movement (Sweden), Art Circulation (Canada), The Place (UK) and Here & Now showcase (UK).

Showcase on Monday 19th of August – ’And So We’re Gone’ by Björn Säfsten 12:00 and 17:00 Showcase 18:30 – 20:00 Reception

Intricate mathematics, existential march, and artificial mundanity are set in motion in choreographer Björn Säfsten’s new work. This showcase will feature a 15 minutes extract of Björn Säftsen’s ’And So We’re Gone’ and a short Q&A. You can find more information about the piece here.

Showcase on Tuesday 20th of August – ’Waterkind’ by Land Before Time 12:00 and 17:20 Showcase

Water is the inspiration to form the flows and currents in this work, combined with freestyle and elements of popping. This showcase will feature a 15 minutes extract of Land Before Time’s ’Waterkind’ and a short Q&A. You can find more information about the piece here.
