Stina Nyberg’s Make Hay While the Sun Shines at MDT’s Lustholmen Festival in Stockholm in June 2022

“All that you touch You Change. All that you Change Changes you. The only lasting truth Is Change.” ― Octavia E. Butler, Parable of the Sower Make Hay While the Sun Shines by Stina Nyberg is a series of dances which maps the dancing movements of our histories. The dance performance engages in time specific and partial views, the uncategorized details that pre-exists the whole, and the chaos called reality. Stemming from a movement practice based on disharmonious change, a dance which might be more like life itself is created: irregular, fascinating, unsuccessful, stumbling, loving and pretty unpredictable. This performance of Make Hay While the Sun Shines is a new dance in the series, with an extended cast of eight dancers and music by KABLAM. Presented on the 4th and 5th of June at MDT in Stockholm as part of their festival Lustholmen. Buy tickets More information about the show
